All too often we overcomplicate things... Here is your reminder to keep it easy!
Take a fall walk and collect things along the way.
Lay under the trees with your kids and watch the leaves swirl to the ground (seriously, do this, you won't regret it!).
Squeeze some fall colored paints onto a tray and let the kids have at it! These paints are my new absolute favorites. The colors are as vivid as can be.
Leaf STOMPIN' Art!
Use markers to color the "veiny" side of the leaf. (Fill it in as much as possible.)
Squirt that same side of the leaf with a bit of water using a spray bottle.
Put it vein side down on a piece of paper.
Put another piece of paper on top of it.
Jump or stomp on it.
Peel off the leaf and voila!
I'd imagine that you could get a similar effect using watercolors but haven't yet tried that.
